The course will cover the state of art in preconception- and early pregnancy care. The aim is to inform the audience about the basic and scientific background for clinical recommendations in early pregnancy diagnosis and treatment.
The course is aimed at clinicians and scientists interested in modern early pregnancy research and practice. It will help to build expected standards of practice in early pregnancy care allied to modern scientific advances in our understanding of early pregnancy development.

Registrations will be limited to 150 participants. For availability of places, it is advisable to check first with the ESHRE Central Office.
The deadline for pre-registrations is 12 December 2008. After this date you can still register on-site if the course is not fully booked.
The following registration fees apply:
1. Members of ESHRE = 150 Euro
2. Non-members of ESHRE = 200 Euro
3. Student member of ESHRE* = 75 Euro
4. Student non-member of ESHRE* = 150 Euro
* "Student" applies to undergraduate, graduate and medical students, residents and post-doctoral research trainees. A letter from the Head of the department proving the participant's student status must accompany each student registration.
PLEASE NOTE! The preferred methods of payment are either by bank transfer or credit card. Cheques and bank drafts will not be accepted.

All cancellations should be made in writing. An administrative fee of 25 Euro will be charged for all cancellations. Cancellations received after 20 November 2009 will not be refunded.
All participants are called upon to submit an abstract for presentation during the session “First trimester young colleagues” on 11 December from 8 am to 9 am.
Deadline for abstract submission = 05 November 2009
Four abstracts will be selected for discussion and presentation as oral communication during the above mentioned session, allowing for 10 minutes presentation and 5 minutes discussion.
Abstracts that are not selected for this session will also be presented as poster during coffee breaks and lunch. Abstracts can only be submitted online.
10 December
Dinner in Restaurant "De Pappegay" in "Het Schielandshuis", on 10 December starting at 7 p.m. The building is a 17th century city palace, housing the Historic Museum Rotterdam and is located at 700 meter walking distance of the Hilton Hotel. Participating to this event is optional: a fee of 60 Euro/per person will be charged

From Amsterdam Airport Schiphol:
Take A4 Hwy South toward The Hague. At junction Ypenburg continue on the A13 Southeast to Rotterdam. Take the exit signposted Rotterdam Centrum and follow signs to Centrum. On the Hofplein roundabout go straight on and take the first right (Kruiskade) to the Hilton Rotterdam hotel.
